Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home is seeking a Director of Clinical Education to lead training and development initiatives while driving exceptional clinical standards in our community.

Your Role & Impact:

As the Director of Clinical Education, you will play a vital role in creating a premier healthcare environment by:

• Designing, implementing, and evaluating staff education programs, including general orientation and skills training.
• Identifying training needs and ensuring compliance by serving on the QAPI Committee.
• Serves as the Infection Preventionist in the center. Responsible for surveillance, evaluating trends and responding with any training or reporting needs
• Responsible for reporting findings from Infection Control surveillance and the nosocomial rate monthly to the QAPI committee
• May be required to fulfill the job functions of a direct care nurse as determined by the needs of the patients/residents and community

What You Bring:

• Current and valid Texas RN license.
• Previous nurse education, infection control, and clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing
