Skills and Expectations

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Dental Hygiene license in Tennessee
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Additional certification or training is an asset
• Ability to learn digital dentistry quickly
• Knowledge of Open Dental is a plus

About Your Role

• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Take dental radiographs
• Periodontal Charting
• Charting existing restorations and missing teeth
• Adult and Child prophylaxis
• Scaling and Root Planing
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records
