Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working within multiple school locations throughout El Dorado County, CA. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population ranging from PreK to adult transition programs, with assignments spread across areas including El Dorado Hills to Camino. This contract position is ideal for candidates who are flexible, enjoy travel, and are comfortable with a potentially itinerant schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy aligned with individualized education programs (IEP) across various school sites within the county.
  • Manage caseloads that range from mild to moderate, with occasional assignments involving more severe cases.
  • Provide services in compliance with California state standards and collaborate with educational staff.
  • Support clinical fellows (CFs) and speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs), offering onsite supervision as required.
  • Adapt to changing assignments throughout the semester and efficiently manage travel between locations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license.
  • Experience working in school settings and familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is preferred.
  • Comfortable with itinerant therapy models and traveling within the county.
  • Willingness to provide onsite therapy and supervision; remote options are not available.
  • Experience with mild to moderate caseloads; handling severe caseloads is a plus.

Location:

  • Multiple school locations across El Dorado County, including El Dorado Hills and Camino.
  • Based in the Roseville, CA area with a commute to various sites within the county.
  • Opportunities may involve travel up to approximately 1.5 hours to Lake Tahoe or 45 minutes to Sacramento.
