Parts Representative - Heavy Equipment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and customer focused Parts Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with parts sales, maintaining inventory, supporting the retail sales floor, and ensuring accurate receiving and delivery of parts. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting with parts sales and inquiries
- Record customer transactions and sales using company systems and tools (PFW)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
- Assist in maintaining retail displays and sales floor standards
- Support inventory control by reporting discrepancies and assisting with cycle counts
- Ensure customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner
- Receive, ship, and store parts in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
- Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors when needed
- Mark and store parts in the stockroom according to established procedures
- Assist with inventory counts as directed by the Parts Manager
- Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors
- Participate in company meetings, communications, and training opportunities
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Maintain reliable attendance and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts sales, inventory, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as needed
