Guidewire Functional Specialist (ISG)

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Functional Specialist in the Insurance Solutions Group where you will leverage your expertise in insurance products and Guidewire PolicyCenter. With a hybrid work model and day shifts you will play a crucial role in enhancing our insurance solutions ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Your contributions will directly impact our company’s growth and the insurance industry’s evolution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex insurance product requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Provide expert guidance on the configuration and customization of PolicyCenter to meet specific client needs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes and configurations.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of system functionalities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PolicyCenter implementations ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team knowledge and proficiency in insurance products.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in all system implementations.
• Support the transition of new solutions from development to production environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine system functionalities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans for future system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of insurance products and their lifecycle.
• Demonstrate expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter with proven implementation experience.
• Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
• Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance domain.
• Show proficiency in documenting technical processes and configurations.
• Display effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Hold a bachelors degree in a related field with advanced certifications as a plus.
  

Work model: Hybrid
