Gallagher Bassett (GB) is Australia and New Zealand’s premier third party claims administrator. We manage claims and health and wellbeing on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured organisations. In the role of Client Manager, you will work closely with the NT Operation Team, Dept of Treasury & Finance, and the wider NTG Agencies to influence improved claims and service outcomes for the NT Government communityReporting to the Head of Government Partnerships, this is an exciting and unique opportunity to collaborate with Senior Leadership in Government Agencies clients and Operations, to drive impactful projects and initiatives across the NT Government that deliver improved wellbeing, injury and illness outcomes.  

 


How you'll make an impact

  • Develop, lead and maintain a strong relationships with NTG Agencies and other key stakeholders to ensure that customer service and service quality expectations are being met; 
  • Proactively manage day to day relationships with NTG Agencies, ensuring delivery of client focused service and tailoring services to meet the unique needs of the Agency; 
  • Drive a range of Government and Agency projects and industry-wide initiatives, working with industry experts and senior leadership teams;  
  • Implement a strategic engagement framework, implementation and monitoring with client (Dept. Treasury & Finance) and Agencies; 
  • Meet with stakeholders on a regular basis to obtain and provide feedback, supporting continuous improvement; 
  • Facilitate client strategic planning, support claim and service reviews, and attend Client Services team meetings; 
  • Support operational leadership to resolve escalated complaints from Agencies in accordance with company guidelines; 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to actively engage with customers to explain what the services are and set expectations with all parties involved; 
  • Provide education and training to client agencies with the support of the NT operational leaders; 
  • Identify cross sell opportunities within portfolio with a view to strengthen client relationships. 
  • Support GB Health and Wellbeing program implementation and undertake client service responsibilities as agreed. 

About you

  • Experience and knowledge of workers compensation/personal injury management industry, or equivalent transferrable skills. Government experience would be highly regarded;  
  • Strong client relationship and engagement experience; 
  • Demonstrated influencing skills, with the ability to work with all operational levels;  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders; 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail; 
  • Strategic thinking and business planning; 
  • Ability to interpret data and develop meaningful insights.
