Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Position Summary:
A proven leader with people skills, a passion for patient care, and the drive to succeed. Responsible for oversight of a designated market and provides supervision of both couriers and phlebotomists. Adheres to and enforces departmental policies and procedures to include department programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety
Duties & Responsibilities:
Upholds all Sonic Core Values and ensures compliance with company policies and mandatory training.
Oversees daily operations in assigned territory, including specimen collection, processing, transport, and new account setups.
Maintains staffing levels, creates and manages work schedules, and provides phlebotomy coverage as needed.
Manages all aspects of HR functions: hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, performance management, and reviews.
Handles payroll operations, including timecard monitoring, PTO review, and timely payroll submission.
Participates in the Quality Management program, submitting reports and addressing errors in specimen handling and data entry.
Conducts routine audits at all locations to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Coordinates building maintenance and repairs, working directly with contractors as needed.
Oversees fleet vehicle maintenance and repair.
Collaborates with the sales team to support client retention and business growth.
Attends monthly and scheduled meetings at the Toledo main office.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
5+ year’s phlebotomy experience
2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Licensure and Certifications:
Required: Phlebotomy Certificate
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently, be attentive to detail, and provide quality work
Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, physicians, vendors, clients, and external agencies
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology related to blood collection
Ability to operate medical tools and equipment in carrying out phlebotomy procedures
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee, patient, client, and company information at all times
Ability to demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws: federal and state regulations, including CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, Safety, and OSHA Regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
