Overview

You will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Financial applications owned by the GTS Corporate Applications team. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource of applications for Finance and Accounting, supporting processes, and implementing improvements. You will ensures appropriate controls are in place and integrates data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities. This role also provides administrative and project support to the team


How you'll make an impact

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures.
  • Gather business requirements and implement a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE, focused initially on the LatAm and UK/EMEA regions
  • Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
  • Serve as liaison between technical and functional stakeholders and project management teams to keep initiatives moving forward smoothly and in accordance with project plans.
  • Define project scope, project strategy, deliverable priorities, and recommend alternative solutions.  
  • Define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions with the internal partners. 

About You

  • Minimum of 8 years technical knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher, including application configuration and development
  • Strong financial applications, analysis and issue resolution (trouble shooting) skills
  • Experience working with third party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions
  • Working "hands-on" knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies
  • Financial & Business acumen (working knowledge) and awareness of management and analysis processes
  • Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel
  • Excellent organization skills, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations
  • Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams  

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of technology project support experience
  • Experience with JDE Localization implementations for LatAm countries is a plus
  • Experience with other Financial applications such as Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, OneStream, and Trintech Cadency are a plus
  • Understanding of Single Sign-On and Identity Management solutions
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Visio or Lucid
  • Intermediate SQL query skills
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • Moderate fluency in Portuguese is a plus
