Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support elementary schools in Clarksburg, MD, addressing increased caseload demands. This contract position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time schedules available, starting as soon as possible through June 5th.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required reports.
  • Participate in meetings and case conferences to coordinate student care and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland SLP License required.
  • Credentials such as CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) desirable.
  • Experience working within school settings supporting childrens speech and language development.
  • Ability to manage increased caseloads efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well with students, families, and staff.
