Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a dynamic school environment in San Francisco, CA. Two on-site contract roles are available, focused on delivering vital support to students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Pre-K intake assessments (Note: Certified Fellows are not eligible for this position).
  • Provide FMLA coverage for an existing SLP role at an elementary school for the remainder of the school year.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to address individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant state and educational guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
  • Preferred possession of a Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC); however, this is not mandatory.
  • Prior experience working in school settings as an SLP.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a school environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site only; no virtual or remote work options).
  • Duration: Immediate start through June 3, 2026.
  • Full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Contract role.
