Job Title: Sports Medicine Physician

Location: Hybrid – Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona

Schedule: Full-Time

Practice Setting: Outpatient orthopedic clinic with an affiliated surgical center

Call: Shared call rotation among the group

Travel: None required

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Physician with an emphasis on advanced shoulder care to join a physician-led orthopedic group in Gilbert and Mesa, AZ. This role offers a high-volume, focused practice supported by skilled physician assistants, in-house imaging, and a dedicated procedural team. Ideal candidates will value the opportunity to concentrate on shoulder pathology within a collaborative, efficient practice backed by a strong referral network.

Focused Shoulder Practice: Manage a high volume of shoulder conditions including arthroplasty-related care, rotator cuff pathology, labral injuries, and complex shoulder disorders.

Comprehensive Support: Access on-site imaging, physical therapy services, experienced OR staff, and physician assistants to enhance clinical workflow.

Base Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Bonus: Collections-based incentive program

• Diagnose and treat shoulder conditions including sports injuries, trauma, and degenerative disorders
• Provide advanced shoulder care, including arthroscopy and coordination of shoulder arthroplasty cases as appropriate
• Manage all aspects of preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Collaborate closely with onsite physical therapy teams to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
• Optionally provide sports knee care based on interest and referral volume
• Perform in-office procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives

• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOS or applicable sports medicine board)
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure (MD or DO)
• Strong expertise in shoulder pathology and advanced procedural care
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
