TRC Talent Solutions is proud to partner with JTS Health Partners to recruit a high-performing Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This position is onsite with a client in Ohio and offers enhanced flexibility to accommodate commuting needs.
Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management
The Revenue Cycle Manager will provide operational leadership to support client services within the acute ambulatory and physician sectors. The manager will execute on the RCM strategy and vision provided by senior management to achieve high-quality client results. This role is based in Port Clinton, OH. For candidates outside the area, we are open to supporting relocation through a stipend and/or temporary housing assistance. Support is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis for candidates who meet key qualifications.
Role Overview & Core Expertise
Comprehensive Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) knowledge with experience in healthcare accounts receivables (AR) processes and procedures within the acute and critical access settings (e.g., Method 2 Billing) is required. Additionally, the candidate must possess a strong understanding of the following key areas:- Pre-registration and authorization
- Account management and resolution
- Denials management
- Third-party payer communications and collections
- Contract analysis and cash posting
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute on the RCM strategy provided by senior management.
- Develop strategic and tactical internal process improvement plans.
- Directly and indirectly manage team members including hiring, motivating, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating as necessary.
- Collaborate with other teams and leaders in the organization.
- Monitor progress on productivity and quality goals.
- Provide day-to-day operational feedback and coaching.
- Ensure compliance through work process and enforcement.
- Oversee provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes (physicians, APPs, and clinics).
- Manage and control multiple clients’ projects simultaneously.
- Effectively use and enhance management tools and technologies provided.
- Provide and execute formal communications to team members and clients as well as initiate resolutions.
- Serve as a liaise with client’s vendors on contract oversight, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- At least 7+ years of experience in RCM accounts receivable management in an acute and critical access environments and/or vendor setting managing Extended Business Office projects with a minimum of 5+ years in a people management role.
- Depth of experience in Oracle Health/Cerner Community Works.
- Clinic and rural health clinic (RHC) experience along with acute, physician, and critical access.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and other reporting tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, although consideration for experience will be given if the candidate exceeds minimum requirements of other qualifications listed.
Preferred Qualifications
- HFMA Advanced Certified Patient Accounts Representative (ACPAR)
- Experian experience (Contract Manager, Eligibility, Patient Access, etc.)
