Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Outpatient Clinic
Responsibilities:

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, advanced techniques as applicable)

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care

• Participate in 1:8 on-call rotation
  Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, advanced endoscopic techniques
  EMR System: Not specified
  Support Staff: Full support team including six physicians and nursing staff
  Days Per Month: Full-time (standard Monday–Friday schedule)
  On-Call/Weekends: On-call approximately every 8th week

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (must become BC within 2 years) – Required

• Active Michigan medical license at time of employment – Required

• DEA – Required

• BLS Certification and ongoing recertification – Required
