Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity to provide specialized occupational therapy services in a vibrant school setting in Sebring, FL, is now available for a passionate and dedicated professional. This contract position supports K-12 students, focusing on pediatric occupational therapy within a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Utilize pediatric assessment tools such as PDMS, BOT, and VMI with expertise.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet all reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist License in Florida is mandatory.
- Solid pediatric occupational therapy experience, specifically within school settings.
- Proficiency with the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales (PDMS), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOT), and Visual-Motor Integration (VMI) assessments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
- Location: Sebring, FL.
- Contract duration: Immediate start with an end date of 5/29/2026.
- Schedule: 38.75 hours per week, 5 days per week.
- Caseload includes diverse K-12 student populations.
