Are you ready to apply your expertise as a Cath Lab Technologist in Santa Fe, NM. Join a hospital team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist) and perform diagnostic and interventional procedures that support physician decision making. Operate advanced imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic quality images and provide patient care throughout procedures.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certification in radiologic technology required.
- New Mexico state licensure required.
- Certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS certification required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
- Minimum one year radiologic experience required. One year interventional or Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent required.
- Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology, and basic computer skills required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English required.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs required.
- Weekend coverage required. On-call requirement: approximately 10 out of 12 days per month, including weekends.
