Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position working in a school setting in Fairfield, CA. This role offers a 37.5-hour workweek, managing a K-12 caseload of approximately 55 students. The position is W-2 with full benefits included, as well as travel pay and reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred for early career professionals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment.
- Familiarity with both SLP and SLPA roles appreciated.
