Janitorial Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces are consistently clean and presentable while supporting overall facility cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and replenishment of supplies.

-Maintain cleanliness of break rooms, lunch areas, locker rooms, offices, and other common areas.

-Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the facility.

-Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.

-Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor areas clean and free of debris.

-Monitor and restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed.

-Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces.

-Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

-Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.

-Support special cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

-Previous janitorial, custodial, warehouse or housekeeping cleaning experience

-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

-Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

-Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

-Frequently standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

-Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

-Comfortable using cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.

-Bathrooms remain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.

-Common areas are organized, welcoming, and free of trash and debris.

-Outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

-The warehouse maintains a high standard of cleanliness that supports employee safety and productivity.

Janitorial

When working in a Janitorial position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

• Working independently or in a team to clean, sanitize, and tidy varying workspaces including offices, warehouses, shopping centers or other locations.
• Safely operating mechanical or manual equipment including vacuums, waxers, mops, polishers, and other standard janitorial items.
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
