Job Details
How You Will Spend Your Day
Identify and develop new business opportunities through ongoing engagement, presentations, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
Expand existing programs and service offerings to drive continued growth and increased market penetration.
Lead and support end-to-end business development efforts, including opportunity evaluation, proposal development, and lifecycle execution.
Conduct strategic research and analysis to support existing and emerging service lines.
Contribute to business planning initiatives, including forecasting, performance metrics, and strategic growth objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to support program adoption and long-term success.
Serve as a subject matter expert across assigned accounts or lines of business, maintaining awareness of key priorities, initiatives, and organizational dynamics.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across projects, deliverables, and program execution.
Support marketing and outreach initiatives through participation in presentations, events, and industry engagement efforts.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also mentoring and supporting team members as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related fields, ideally within a mission-driven or nonprofit environment.
Experience working with complex client environments and navigating large organizational structures.
Strong track record of driving growth, developing partnerships, and managing high-value opportunities.
Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency with CRM systems and business development tools.
Preferred Experience
Background in regulated or government-aligned environments.
Experience supporting long sales cycles and navigating complex stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated success in negotiation, relationship management, and driving customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with compliance-driven programs or structured procurement environments.
