Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Burnsville, NC, offering the chance to provide specialized support in a school setting. This travel position focuses on delivering essential speech therapy services to students primarily in grades Pre-K through 5th, with a caseload ranging between 40 and 50 students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, ensuring individualized plans support their communication development.
- Manage a caseload of 40-50 students across early childhood to elementary age groups.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to assess student progress and adapt intervention strategies.
- Complete required indirect services, documentation, and meetings, totaling approximately 28.38 hours of service weekly.
- Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations as well as best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with Pre-K through 12th-grade populations, especially early childhood and elementary students.
- Ability to manage a moderate to large caseload with diverse communication needs.
- Strong organizational skills to balance direct therapy and indirect service requirements.
