A full-time Social Worker position is available for a travel assignment in Napoleonville, Louisiana, supporting the local school district from March 2, 2026, through May 22, 2026. This role focuses on providing essential social work services within a school setting, designed to support the well-being and academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to identify and address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students facing personal, social, or academic challenges
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to students needs
  • Facilitate communication between families and school personnel to promote supportive environments
  • Advocate for students needs within the school system and connect families to external support services when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Louisiana is required
  • Experience working as a social worker in schools preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic school environment
  • Commitment to student welfare and educational success
