About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Scientific Services to spearhead the scientific function within its dynamic medical communications organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and overseeing the scientific strategy and vision for all medical communications programs, ensuring the highest standards of scientific excellence, accuracy, and compliance. This pivotal role involves building and leading high-performing scientific teams, serving as a senior scientific partner to clients across various therapeutic areas, and driving innovation in scientific storytelling and content formats. The VP will also be instrumental in new business development, shaping the scientific voice of the organization, and fostering a culture of rigor and innovation. Applicants for the Vice President of Scientific Services position at the company should hold an advanced degree in a scientific or medical discipline and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in medical communications, medical education, or a related agency environment, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles. The role requires deep expertise in translating clinical and scientific data into strategic medical communications, as well as experience in driving business growth and managing complex, multi-account portfolios. The ideal candidate will be adept at building long-term partnerships with clients, including at the executive and KOL level, and will be responsible for establishing best practices, processes, and quality standards to support the scalability and efficiency of the scientific function.
