Overview
At Gallagher Bassett (GB), we provide a compassionate and innovative claims service for injured workers and employers who have been impacted by a workplace injury. With dedicated teams specialising in both physical and mental injury, we support injured workers with a holistic approach on their journey to return to work and to life.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our centralised team, where you will have the opportunity to perform diverse functions and contribute to our overall success.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the benefits function of the business, including but not limited to superannuation and settlement processes. You will work collaboratively with various claims management teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes. Additionally, you will provide specialised oversight within different areas of the Compensation and Benefits Team.
Joining our centralised team offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to various functions within our organisation. You will have the chance to develop a broad skill set and make a significant impact on our operations.
How you'll make an impact
In this position, you'll undertake the following:
- Providing a professional and customer centric Workers Compensation claims service through efficient monitoring and oversight of some of our centralised functions
- Providing support in data analysis and reporting to contribute to streamlining processes and improve overall efficiency
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues
- Delivering high quality customer service towards all parties, and demonstrate a commitment to learning and development
- Learning about differing employment awards to further your understanding about how remuneration cycles and structures operate for various employers
