Production Associate - Warehouse
Job Description
Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Warehouse shipping/receiving Associate- who will be responsible for transactions relating to Shipping and receiving of heavy-duty truck parts and also delivering to and from customers locally. This position performs warehouse work that includes receiving and organizing heavy duty truck parts, removing sold parts from stock, and processing orders for shipment, then delivering those items to our customers locally etc.

- Unpack received parts and stock/organize shelves, cores, supplies, and other items as necessary
- Pack parts for shipping. Generate pick tickets for orders to warehouse
- Load and/or unload trucks
- Organize shipping and receiving schedules with Carriers
- Deliver parts to local customers within the market and record delivery information
- Inquire about customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
- Maintain routine maintenance on truck and keep truck clean inside and out, per company policy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years warehouse Shipping/Receiving experience
- Heavy duty truck or automotive parts knowledge/experience
- Ability to lift up to 50+lbs
- Customer Service (professional, and a helpful attitude)
- Excellent communication (oral & written)
- Valid driver's license with good driving record; CDL is not required
- Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, etc.)
- The work is active
- The associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts at a minimum of 25 lbs. up to in excess of 75 lbs. up to 10% of the time
- The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing
- While performing the primary duties of the job, the associate will be regularly exposed typical inside and outside conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances
