About the role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to manage a dedicated SME and Mid Market portfolio while collaborating with Senior Brokers on diverse and complex accounts.
In this role, you will be a key point of contact for your clients, designing tailored risk solutions and negotiating effectively within the market.
A Day in the Life
- Manage and develop relationships with SME & Mid Market clients
- Ownership of a SME & Mid Market client portfolio (renewals & new business)
- Assess risk and design tailored insurance solutions
- Negotiate with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes
- Build strong partnerships with underwriters
- Manage portfolio budgets, business plans, and debtors
- Support new business growth through pipeline development
Skills and experience
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
- Strong account management with attention to detail
- Clear, professional, and confident with stakeholders
- Practical & service-first approach to getting deals done
- Proactive, helpful, and driven to hit team goals
- Previous experience in a similar insurance or broking role is highly regarded
