Special Education Teacher  2025-2026 School Year

Opportunities - Chicago - South Suburbs
  • Responsible for providing academic, emotional and physical services to students who need support  to thrive within the academic program. Classroom and resource positions available.
  • Able to implement curriculum to meet standards, develop IEPs, support classroom assistants, collaborate with fellow teachers. Program may include students k-12.
  • Monday-Friday. School hours.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Hold PEL as a LBS1. Prefer 1-2 yrs experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
  • 1-2 years’ experience a plus. May consider a new graduate.
  • Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Work Hours:
  • Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building’s hours.
Salary and Benefits:
  • $43/hr for new grad; other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
