Overview

At Gallagher, we’re united by a commitment to growth and excellence. As a Senior Pharmacy Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting internal teams and clients with Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) RFPs and contract reviews. You’ll use your expertise in PBM pricing to provide valuable insights, create client-facing presentations, and ensure high-quality deliverables. How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll:

  • Analyze and summarize pharmacy data from multiple sources to track utilization and spending.
  • Develop and maintain accurate models for PBM RFPs and financial analysis.
  • Review and edit complex contract language to align with RFP terms.
  • Create client-facing presentations that summarize analytical results and key findings.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams and participate in client discussions about PBM pricing strategies.
  • Evaluate client performance against contracted terms and provide actionable insights.

About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Math.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the PBM industry, with expertise in pricing, discounts, rebates, and contracts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, and working with large datasets).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to process raw data accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Experience with reporting tools like Access, SQL Server, or Power BI is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
