Minimum 1+ years school therapist experience required.

An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Music Therapist to provide specialized therapeutic services within a school setting in Clarksburg, MD. This contract position focuses on supporting students' emotional, cognitive, and social development through music therapy.

Position Details:

• Role: Itinerant Music Therapist
• Schedule: One day per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 5, 2026
• Location: Frederick County Public Schools (specific school locations to be determined)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Maryland Music Therapy license
• Experience working with school-aged children in therapeutic settings
• Strong ability to design and implement individualized music therapy sessions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other service providers
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver music therapy services to students with varying abilities and needs, focusing on enhancing their academic and social integration
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to create comprehensive support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
• Travel within the district to provide services at multiple school locations as assigned
