Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited- TRANSERV is seeking a Heavy Duty Truck SPRING & SUSPENSION TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining suspension systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

SPRING & SUSPENSION TECHNICIAN Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose suspension-related issues on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles. Class 1 to 8 equipment
- Install, repair, and replace leaf springs, airbags, shocks, bushings, hangers, torque rods, equalizers, U-bolts, and related components.
- Perform front-end work, including kingpins, steering components, and alignment preparation as applicable.
- Inspect vehicles to identify worn or damaged suspension parts and recommend necessary repairs.
- Use shop equipment such as hydraulic presses, torches, welders, impact tools, and alignment tools.
- Remove and reinstall axles, brackets, and suspension assemblies safely and efficiently.
- Complete work orders, document findings, and communicate clearly with service advisors or management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment consistent with shop standards and safety protocols.
- Assist with diagnosing additional mechanical issues when required.
Successful SPRING & SUSPENSION TECHNICIAN Candidates Will Have:
- One year of Spring & Suspension Technician experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs
- Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read repair orders, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license (DZ or CDL preferred but not required).
- Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship.

- The role is a physically active role.
- Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist devices.
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift.
- Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing.
- Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities.

Pay based on experience : 25.00-32.00
