Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based services, located in Marion, OH. This contract role offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week supporting students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade with an Elementary School (ES) placement caseload. There are two openings available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Physical Therapist (PT) license is required.
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings.
• Ability to manage caseloads from Pre-K to 5th grade.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and school staff.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions and support to students in Pre-K through 5th grade to enhance their physical abilities and participation in school activities.
• Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success within the school environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational and therapeutic guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
