Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Bear Creek Senior Living, you’ll be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. Your duties will include:

  • Evaluating residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using standardized assessments
  • Developing and executing individualized care plans that address mobility, self-care, and daily functioning
  • Educating residents and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment, techniques, and home programs
  • Documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards
  • Consulting on facility modifications and ergonomics to enhance accessibility and safety
  • Supervising and collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as applicable
  • Participating in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current registration with NBCOT and licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of Colorado
  • Minimum one year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered mindset
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with adaptive tools, splinting, positioning, and environmental design considerations
